THIS CLASS IS K-4!

Each week, we'll read and study a favorite book. Then kids will use directed drawing, visualizing and more to illustrate a part of the story. Taught by Mendota Teacher, Ms. Hockett

Get ready to whip up some delicious salty and sweet treats in 30 minutes or less and then of course try them! Taught by parent, Tina Hurley.

Junior Great Books incorporates listening skills, critical thinking and sharing ideas and/or interpretive art or projects based on the rotating sets of classic stories and poems presented each week. Taught by Ms. Killian, who has a passion for literacy.

Kids yoga classes are fun, inspirational, educational, and unique every time. We learn about our bodies, our emotions, and our energy through age appropriate yoga poses, creative movement, games, breath exercises, and stories. Students learn physical skills such as strength, balance, and flexibility as well as universal concepts such as cooperation, compassion and gratitude. Taught by Grace with Green Lotus.

2:15 - 3:15: Session 1

Join this class to create and explore Perler beads (aka fuse beads, melty beads, etc.).  Taught by Mendota staff, Mr. Vitiritti.

Join us for a fun and educational after school program designed to enrich your child's learning experience. Our Enrichment class offers a balanced approach to physical and mental development. Kids will start each session with a warm-up of stretching and running/walking to get your heart pumping and your muscles ready. Then they’ll enjoy a healthy snack to fuel their minds and bodies, followed by engaging in read aloud sessions led by experienced teachers. Join this great new class to improve physical health and wellness, cognitive development, and healthy habits! Taught by Mendota teachers, Ms. Munson, Ms. Krohn & Ms. Christiansen

In this class, students will make cards, posters & more to encourage teachers, staff and others at Mendota (and beyond). We’ll also make Valentine cards and spread love and kindness…and we’ll have lots of fun in the process! Taught by Mendota Staff, Ms. Eddins
